Todd Kerr
Racquet Club Director and Coach
Todd Kerr is a USPTA Pro and the Director of the Racquet Club. A native of OKC, Todd says, “He is city born and raised but he loves the country life, especially the Grand Lake life.”
He married a Grove native, Donnetta Boyett, who he met at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. There he played tennis as he completed his BS in Science. Todd later completed his master’s in Education Administration at Southern Nazarene University. Todd was in his 28th year of teaching and coaching when he decided to join the Shangri-La team.
He coached tennis at Grove for 25 years, where he had the pleasure of coaching all 3 of his children (Kelsey, Levi, and Lacey) and now a fellow coworker in Katelin Threet. Todd said, “It had to be a very special job to pull him away from teaching/coaching and that this is a dream job.”
He also said, “After visiting with Barry for the first time I saw a special place to join and was highly impressed with the culture that Eddy, Barry, and Jason have created.”
Todd has a tennis background but has been falling in love with Pickleball. He will be directing leagues, camps, drills, clinics, tournaments, and lessons in both tennis and pickleball. One of Todd’s main goals is to include all ages in the Racquet Club activities.
