Ryan Dalton, Lead Instructor & Fitting Specialist
ryan.dalton@shangrilaok.com

Ryan believes instruction is an integral part of the game of golf. There is a reason why the best golfers in the world have teachers. This is something he took advantage of growing up and ultimately led to him receiving a scholarship to play college golf at Missouri Southern. While not everyone has the same goals, Ryan believes that formal instruction will help you to have a more enjoyable experience on the golf course. His teaching philosophy focuses on the fundamentals. Many golf shots fail before we even begin to swing the club. That is why Ryan places a major emphasis on getting set up correctly. He is also a firm believer in being able to get the ball up and down from one hundred yards and in. A good way to do this is to spend time hitting short shots, pitches, chipping, and of course, putting! Ryan will take pride in helping you reach your goals, big or small, and looks forward to seeing you on the tee!

Bradley Jumper, Assistant Golf Professional
Bradley.jumper@shangrilaok.com

When it comes to the game of golf, Bradley believes that consistent instruction plays a critical role. Gaining helpful insight into what you’re doing right and what you’re doing wrong will help you improve your performance and ultimately allow you to enjoy the game on a whole new level. Bradley likes to focus on fundamentals, establishing a consistent and repeatable routine, and a dedication to repetition. He believes that if you keep things simple and rely on the basics, you will have a better chance to make a good repetitive motion resulting in solid contact and better scores. He promotes a devotion to minimizing your shots the closer you get to greens complexes through proper technique and a commitment to a regular practice routine. If a player ends up reaching their goals as a player, Bradley has reached his goal as an instructor.
