Our premiere Racquet Club Facility provides outdoor tennis and pickleball courts. Numerous viewing areas allow friends and family to spectate while enjoying a spectacular view of Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees. Do not worry about bringing your equipment! Anchor Staff members will ensure you have the right equipment to either dink around or get involved in one of our serious mixers.

The Racquet Club is on the south side of The Anchor at Shangri La, surrounded by the beautiful property and amenities at Shangri La Resort of Oklahoma.

Meet the Professionals
Todd Kerr is a USPTA Pro and the Director of the Racquet Club. A native of OKC, Todd says, “He is city-born and raised but he loves the country life, especially the Grand Lake life.” He married a Grove native, Donnetta Boyett, who he met at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. There he played tennis as he completed his BS in Science. Todd later completed his master’s in Education Administration at Southern Nazarene University. Todd was in his 28th year of teaching and coaching when he decided to join the Shangri-La team. He coached tennis at Grove for 25 years, where he had the pleasure of coaching all 3 of his children (Kelsey, Levi, and Lacey) and is now a fellow coworker in Katelin Threet. Todd said, “It had to be a very special job to pull him away from teaching/coaching and that this is a dream job.” He also said, “After visiting with Barry for the first time I saw a special place to join and was highly impressed with the culture that Eddy, Barry, and Jason have created.” Todd has a tennis background but has been falling in love with Pickleball. He will be directing leagues, camps, drills, clinics, tournaments, and lessons in both tennis and pickleball. One of Todd’s main goals is to include all ages in the Racquet Club activities.
Levi Kerr is a USPTA Pro and the Assistant Director of the Racquet Club. He is a native of Grove, Oklahoma. Before graduating from Grove High School, Levi attended East Central University, where he played tennis. He will assist in directing leagues, camps, drills, clinics, tournaments, and lessons in both tennis and pickleball.
What is available to Members and Guests
Members of Shangri-La have free outdoor court access.
Guests may reserve and play at the following rates:
$20 per hour on weekdays and $30 per hour on weekends (Paddles and Balls are available for use if needed)
Indoor Pickleball/Tennis Courts
Two tennis courts are multi-lined inside the dome, giving an additional six pickleball courts for indoor use.
Indoor courts are NOT air-conditioned; therefore, usage is generally during cooler seasons/rainy mornings. The Dome will be closed for the Summer.
Court Fees
Pickleball/Tennis Dome is $20 per hour for members and $40 on weekdays for non-members.
$50 weekends per hour for non-members
