The Shangri-La Invitational is held annually at the Golf Club on Monkey Island. The highly anticipated Shangri-La Invitational is designed to give the best young amateur players in the region, alongside our regional professionals, an opportunity to compete against the highest level of competition and show what they can do on a big stage.

Event Description

The highly anticipated Shangri-La Invitational is designed to give the best young amateur players in the region, alongside our regional professionals, an opportunity to compete against the highest level of competition and show what they can do on a big stage.

The event has 2 divisions:

Shangri-La Professional Championship: Eligible to any golfer playing professionally
(Entry Fee: $250 – Professional Purse Approx. $10,000)
Open to the first 40 professionals to sign up (All others will be placed on a waiting list and will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis)

Shangri-La Amateur Championship: Eligible to any player ages 17-25 with a 2.0 or lower USGA index
(Entry Fee: $100)
* Open to first 60 players to sign up (All others will be placed on a waiting list and will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis)

* The Tournament Committee reserves the right to extend invitations to players that do not meet the eligibility
